Apparatus (1 ) for handling articles (2), including: - An endless infeed drive member (3) moving in an infeed direction (ID); An endless outfeed drive member (4) spaced apart from the infeed drive member (3) and moving in a second, outfeed direction (OD) opposite to the infeed direction (I D); An endless carrier conveyor (33) having : • An infeed section (34) overlying the infeed drive member (3) and removably attached thereto, whereby said infeed drive member (3) drives said infeed section (34) in the infeed direction (ID); • An outfeed section (35) overlying the outfeed drive member (4) and removably attached thereto, whereby said outfeed drive member (4) drives said outfeed section (35) in the outfeed direction (OD); • An arcuate intermediate section (36) bridging the infeed section (34) and the outfeed section (35) along a transfer path (37) between a diverting point (DIV) where the carrier conveyor (33) disconnects from the infeed drive member (3), and an inverting point (INV) where the carrier conveyor (33) connects the outfeed drive member (4).

L'invention concerne un appareil (1) de manipulation d'articles (2), comprenant : - un élément moteur (3) d'amenée sans fin se déplaçant dans une direction d'amenée (infeed direction, ID) ; un élément moteur (4) d'évacuation sans fin espacé par rapport à l'élément moteur (3) d'amenée et avançant dans une deuxième direction d'évacuation (outfeed direction, OD) opposée à la direction d'amenée (ID) ; un convoyeur (33) de transfert sans fin comprenant : • une section (34) d'amenée surplombant l'élément moteur (3) d'amenée et rattachée à celui-ci de façon amovible, ledit élément moteur (3) d'amenée entraînant ainsi ladite section (34) d'amenée dans la direction d'amenée (ID) ; • une section (35) d'évacuation surplombant l'élément moteur (4) d'évacuation et rattachée à celui-ci de façon amovible, ledit élément moteur (4) d'évacuation entraînant ainsi ladite section (35) d'évacuation dans la direction d'évacuation (OD) ; • une section intermédiaire (36) en arc reliant la section (34) d'amenée à la section (35) d'évacuation le long d'un parcours (37) de transfert entre un point (DIV) de déviation où le convoyeur (33) de transfert se sépare du l'élément moteur (3) d'amenée et un point (INV) d'inversion où le convoyeur (33) de transfert rejoint le élément moteur (4) d'évacuation.
