Abstract
(EN)
An apparatus and method for detecting uterine activity uses cutaneous electrodes on the maternal abdomen to obtain electrophysiological signals that can be used to obtain fetal and maternal heart rate. The apparatus includes a first input for receiving electrical signals from the cutaneous electrodes and a second input for receiving movement signals indicative of a movement of the maternal body from a movement detector. A signal processor separates a uterine electromyogram signal from fetal and maternal heart rate signals and filters out motion artefacts from the electromyogram using the movement signals. An output presents electrohysterogram (EHG) data from the uterine electromyogram signal.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de détection de l'activité de l'utérus, qui utilisent des électrodes cutanées sur un abdomen maternel pour procurer des signaux électrophysiologiques pouvant servir à l'obtention d'une fréquence cardiaque fœtale et maternelle. Ledit appareil comprend une première entrée destinée à recevoir des signaux électriques à partir des électrodes cutanées et une seconde entrée destinée à recevoir des signaux de mouvement indiquant un mouvement du corps de la mère à partir d'un détecteur de mouvement. Un processeur de signal sépare un signal d'électromyogramme utérin de signaux de fréquence cardiaque fœtale et maternelle, et élimine les artefacts de mouvement à partir de l'électromyogramme au moyen des signaux de mouvement. Une sortie présente des données d'électrohystérographie (EHG) à partir du signal d'électromyogramme utérin.
