An electronics assembly for a photovoltaic panel is described wherein the assembly comprises: a substrate of a thermally conductive material, said substrate defining a thermal contact area for thermally contacting said electronics assembly to a photovoltaic panel; and, one or more electronic components provided on said substrate and in thermal contact with said substrate, so that when the electronics assembly is in thermal contact with said photovoltaic panel, said thermal contact providing a heat conductive channel between said electronic components and said photovoltaic panel, said heat conductive channel enabling said electronics assembly to use said photovoltaic panel as a heat sink for heat produced by said electronic compounds.

La présente invention a trait à un ensemble électronique destiné à un panneau photovoltaïque et comprenant : un substrat doté d'un matériau thermoconducteur, ledit substrat définissant une zone de contact thermique permettant de mettre thermiquement en contact ledit ensemble électronique avec un panneau photovoltaïque; et un ou plusieurs composants électroniques disposés sur ledit substrat et en contact thermique avec ledit substrat, de sorte que lorsque l'ensemble électronique est en contact thermique avec ledit panneau photovoltaïque, ledit contact thermique fournissant un canal thermoconducteur entre lesdits composants électroniques et ledit panneau photovoltaïque, ledit canal thermoconducteur permettant audit ensemble électronique d'utiliser ledit panneau photovoltaïque en tant que dissipateur thermique pour la chaleur produite par lesdits composants électroniques.
