Abstract

One aspect of the invention provides a method for harvesting adult cells from an organ. The method includes perfusing the organ with a perfusate and isolating adult cells from the organ, thereby harvesting the adult cells from the organ. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for rehabilitating an organ. The method includes: dividing the organ into a first portion and a second portion, perfusing the first portion with a decellularization medium, isolating adult cells from the second portion, and recellularizing the first portion with a suspension of the adult cells, thereby rehabilitating the organ.

La présente invention concerne, dans un aspect, une méthode de récolte de cellules adultes provenant d'un organe. Ladite méthode comprend la perfusion de l'organe au moyen d'un liquide de perfusion et l'isolation de cellules adultes provenant de l'organe, ce qui permet la récolte de cellules adultes provenant de l'organe. L'invention concerne, dans un autre aspect, une méthode de réhabilitation d'un organe. Ladite méthode comprend les éléments suivants : division de l'organe en une première partie et en une seconde partie ; perfusion de la première partie au moyen d'un milieu de décellularisation ; isolement de cellules adultes provenant de la seconde partie ; et recellularisation de la première partie avec une suspension des cellules adultes, permettant ainsi la réhabilitation de l'organe.
