An apparatus and method for processing signals are disclosed. The apparatus may include a transceiver configured to receive a first paging signal during a first cycle, a memory, and a processor configured to store the received first paging signal in the memory, to switch the transceiver to an off state after the first paging signal is stored in the memory, and to process the stored first paging signal while the transceiver is in the off state.

L'appareil peut comprendre un émetteur-récepteur configuré en vue de recevoir un premier signal de radiomessagerie pendant un premier cycle, une mémoire et un processeur configuré en vue de conserver le premier signal de radiomessagerie reçu dans la mémoire, de faire passer l'émetteur-récepteur à l'état d'arrêt après que le premier signal de radiomessagerie a été conservé en mémoire, et de traiter le premier signal de radiomessagerie conservé pendant que l'émetteur-récepteur est à l'état d'arrêt.
