The invention relates to methods and devices for control of an integrated thin-film device with a plurality of microfluidic channels. In one embodiment, a microfluidic device is provided that includes a microfluidic chip having a plurality of microfluidic channels and a plurality of multiplexed resistive thermal detectors (RTDs). Each of the RTDs is associated with one of the microfluidic channels. The RTDs are connected to a power supply through individual electrodes and pairs of common electrodes. Adjacent RTDs may be driven with alternating polarities, and the current in the common electrodes may be minimized using a virtual ground circuit. The compact microfluidic device is capable of fast heating and highly precise thermal control. The compact microfluidic device is also capable using the RTDs to sense temperature without their heating capability.

La présente invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs permettant d'assurer la régulation d'un dispositif en couche mince intégré comportant une pluralité de canaux microfluidiques. Dans un mode de réalisation, un dispositif microfluidique comprend une puce microfluidique comportant une pluralité de canaux microfluidiques et une pluralité de détecteurs thermiques résistifs (RTD) multiplexés. Chacun de ces RTD est associé à l'un des canaux microfluidiques. Les RTD sont reliés à un bloc d'alimentation par l'intermédiaire d'électrodes individuelles et de paires d'électrodes communes. Des RTD adjacents peuvent être pilotés par des polarités alternées et le courant dans les électrodes communes peut être minimisé au moyen d'un circuit de mise à la terre virtuelle. Le dispositif microfluidique compact peut chauffer rapidement et bénéficier d'une régulation thermique très précise.
