A radar system comprising a switching mode power converter (21), wherein a pulse radar unit (20) is configured to transmit RF pulses with a pulse repetition frequency, and wherein the power converter (21) comprises a switching controller (34), which is configured to control at least one switching element (31, 35), and wherein the switching controller (34) is configured to receive a frequency modulated input signal (Sin), wherein the modulation frequency of said input signal (Sin) is configured to be derived from the pulse repetition frequency of the radar unit (20).

L'invention porte sur un système radar comprenant un convertisseur de puissance à mode de commutation (21), dans lequel une unité radar à impulsions (20) est configurée pour émettre des impulsions RF avec une fréquence de répétition d'impulsions, et le convertisseur de puissance (21) comprenant un dispositif de commande de commutation (34), qui est configuré pour commander au moins un élément de commutation (31, 35), et le dispositif de commande de commutation (34) étant configuré pour recevoir un signal d'entrée modulé en fréquence (Sin), la fréquence de modulation dudit signal d'entrée (Sin) étant configurée pour être issue de la fréquence de répétition d'impulsions de l'unité radar (20).
