The purpose is to embed parallax information into a subtitle stream in a manner enabling coexistence with subtitle information. In order to embed the parallax information into the subtitle stream, a "disparity data set segment" is newly defined as a DVB subtitle segment. By using the new segment, it is possible to embed the parallax information into the subtitle stream in coexistence with the subtitle information. On the receiving side, parallax information can be suitably acquired from the subtitle stream on the basis of a "segment_type", which is identification information. Additionally, in the segment of a "page composition segment" that comprises subtitle information, 1-bit flag information indicated by a "disparity_data_association_flag" is newly defined. The flag information indicates the presence or absence of parallax information that is associated with the page. The presence or absence of parallax information that is associated with the page can be easily determined on the receiving side.

La présente invention a pour objet d'intégrer des informations de parallaxe dans un flux de sous-titre de manière à permettre une coexistence avec des informations de sous-titre. Afin d'intégrer les informations de parallaxe dans le flux de sous-titre, un « segment d'ensemble de données de disparité » est nouvellement défini comme étant un segment de sous-titre de diffusion DVB. A l'aide du nouveau segment, il est possible d'intégrer les informations de parallaxe dans le flux de sous-titre en coexistence avec les informations de sous-titre. Côté réception, les informations de parallaxe peuvent être acquises de manière appropriée à partir du flux de sous-titre sur la base d'un « type_de_segment » qui constitue des informations d'identification. De plus, dans le segment d'un « segment de composition de page », qui comprend des informations de sous-titre, des informations d'indicateur de 1 bit indiquées par un « indicateur_d'association_de_données_de_disparité » sont nouvellement définies. Les informations d'indicateur indiquent la présence ou l'absence des informations de parallaxe qui sont associées à la page. La présence ou l'absence des informations de parallaxe qui sont associées à la page, peut être facilement déterminée côté réception.

【課題】サブタイトルストリームに、サブタイトル情報と併存可能に、視差情報を埋め込む。 【解決手段】サブタイトルストリームに視差情報を埋め込むため、DVBサブタイトルのセグメントとして、「disparity data set segment」を、新たに定義する。この新たなセグメントを用いることで、サブタイトルストリームに、サブタイトル情報と併存して、視差情報を埋め込むことが可能となる。受信側においては、識別情報である「segment_type」に基づいて、サブタイトルストリームから、視差情報を良好に取得できる。また、サブタイトル情報を含む「page composition segment」のセグメントに、「disparity_data_association_flag」で示される1ビットのフラグ情報を新たに定義する。このフラグ情報は、そのページに関連付けられている視差情報の存在の有無を示す。受信側においては、そのページに関連付け視差情報の有無を容易に把握できる。
