Provided is a display device wherein even if the voltage swing of source wiring (Sj) is relatively small, the voltage swings in sub-pixels can be increased, and furthermore, the voltage difference between the sub-pixels can be increased. Voltages at the same level are applied from the source wiring (Sj) to the pixel electrodes (Xij, Yij) in a first sub pixel part (Pija) and a second sub-pixel part (Pijb). Then, by changing a voltage to be applied to auxiliary capacitance wiring (Ci), the voltages at different levels are applied to the pixel electrodes (Xij, Yij) in the first sub-pixel part (Pija) and the second sub-pixel part (Pijb). Thus, the voltage difference is generated between the pixel electrode (Xij) and the pixel electrode (Yij).

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'affichage, dans lequel, même si une excursion de tension du câblage source (Sj) est relativement faible, les excursions de tension dans des sous-pixels peuvent être accrues, et, de plus, la différence de tension entre les sous-pixels peut être accrue. Des tensions au même niveau sont appliquées à partir du câblage source (Sj) aux électrodes de pixel (Xij, Yij) dans une première partie de sous-pixel (Pija) et une seconde partie de sous-pixel (Pijb).  本発明は、ソース配線(Sj)の電圧振幅が比較的小さなものであっても、サブ画素における電圧振幅を大きくし、更にサブ画素間の電圧差を大きくすることのできる表示装置を提供する。 前記ソース配線(Sj)から第1サブ画素部(Pija)及び第2サブ画素部(Pijb)内の画素電極(Xij,Yij)に等しい大きさの電圧が与えられる。その後、補助容量配線(Ci)への印加電圧を変化させることにより、前記第1サブ画素部(Pija)及び前記第2サブ画素部(Pijb)内の前記画素電極(Xij,Yij)に異なる大きさの電圧が与えられる。これにより、前記画素電極(Xij)と前記画素電極(Yij)との間で電圧差を発生させる。
