Abstract

The invention relates to a road unit consisting of a private passenger vehicle (1) including a front axle and a rear axle, said rear axle being provided with an active system (4) for controlling the steering, said road unit further consisting of a set of tyres to be installed on the front and rear axles, each tyre including a crown area laterally extended by flanks, each tyre comprising a carcass framework extending from one bead to another bead, passing through the flanks and the crown of the tyre, the crown area including a reinforcing framework with a tread mounted radially on the outside thereof, said tread including a tread surface radially on the outside thereof, a plurality of grooves being formed in the body of the tread, wherein: the grooves of the rear axle have a depth of no less than 3 mm and no more than 5 mm; the grooves of the front axle have a depth of no less than 5 mm, the grooves of the front axle being deeper than the grooves of the rear axle; and the vehicle has adjustments (camber, toe-in) of near zero.

L'invention propose un ensemble routier constitué d'un véhicule de tourisme (1) comprenant un essieu avant et un essieu arrière, ledit essieu arrière étant équipé d'un système actif (4) de contrôle du braquage, ledit ensemble routier étant en outre constitué d'un train de pneumatiques pour équiper l'essieu avant et l'essieu arrière, chaque pneumatique comprenant une région de sommet prolongée latéralement par des flancs, chaque pneu comportant une armature de carcasse s'étendant d'un bourrelet à un autre bourrelet en passant dans les flancs et le sommet du pneu, la région de sommet comprenant une armature de renforcement surmontée radialement à l'extérieur par une bande de roulement, cette bande de roulement comprenant radialement à l'extérieur une surface de roulement, une pluralité de ramures étant formées dans l'épaisseur de la bande, dans lequel : - les profondeurs des ramures de l'essieu arrière sont au moins égales à 3 mm et au plus égales à 5 mm, - les profondeurs des rainures de l'essieu avant sont au moins égales à 5 mm, les profondeurs des ramures de l'essieu avant étant supérieures aux profondeurs des ramures de l'essieu arrière, - le véhicule a des réglages (carrossage, pince) proches de zéro.
