(EN)Organic amines and phenolic compounds are removed from a wastewater solution from an aniline condensation process by contacting the solution with activated carbon. Phenolic compounds and other organic acids are removed by treating the wastewater solution with activated carbon while the wastewater solution is at a pH of 5 or less. Organic amines are removed by treating the wastewater solution with activated carbon while the wastewater solution is at a pH of 8 or more. The process can efficiently remove both organic amines and organic acids to very low levels.
(FR)L'invention concerne l'élimination d'amines organiques et de composés phénoliques d'une solution d'eau usée issue d'un procédé de condensation d'aniline par mise en contact de la solution avec du charbon actif. Des composés phénoliques et autres acides organiques sont éliminés par traitement de la solution d'eau usée avec du charbon actif pendant que la solution d'eau usée est à un pH de 5 ou moins. Des amines organiques sont éliminées par traitement de la solution d'eau usée avec du charbon actif pendant que la solution d'eau usée est à un pH de 8 ou plus. Le procédé permet d'éliminer efficacement à la fois les amines organiques et les acides organiques à des niveaux très bas.
