(EN)An embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus that may include a transceiver operable to communicate with a receiver in a wireless network and adapted to select an optimal mode for transmissions, wherein the receiver estimates the optimal mode and feeds it back to the transceiver which changes a transmitted mode accordingly and wherein the optimal mode is based on a predetermined metric based on a performance equation that puts a threshold to separate between a high correlated signal to low correlation signal.
(FR)Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un appareil qui comprend un émetteur-récepteur destiné à communiquer avec un récepteur d'un réseau sans fil, et conçu pour sélectionner un mode optimal de transmission. Le récepteur estime le mode optimal et le renvoie à l'émetteur-récepteur qui modifie en conséquence un mode transmis, le mode optimal étant basé sur une métrique prédéterminée en fonction d'une équation de performance qui établit un seuil entre un signal à corrélation élevée et un signal à faible corrélation.
