(EN)Provided is an organic electronic device for which the production process is simple and which can achieve a long lifespan. Also provided is a method for producing the same. The organic electronic device has two or more electrodes, which face one another on a substrate, and an organic functional layer, which is disposed between the two electrodes and comprises at least a positive hole injection layer and/or a positive hole transport layer. The positive hole injection layer and/or positive hole transport layer contain a metal oxide cluster comprising at least one metal element selected from Group 5, 6, or 8 through 10 of the Periodic Table of Elements, and are obtained by forming a thin film from a liquid material in which the metal oxide cluster, which is polyoxometalate, is dissolved or uniformly dispersed or mixed in an aqueous solvent.
