Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Metallklang-Instruments nach Art eines Steel-Pan angegeben, insbesondere zur Herstellung eines Hang®. Beim Verfahren wird das zur Herstellung erforderliche Stahlblech mit einer Dicke von 0,75 bis 1,25 mm so lange nitriert, bis das Blech vollständig mit Eisennitridnadeln durchsetzt ist. Die lineare Dichte der Nadeln liegt in der Regel zwischen 40.103 m-1 bis 80.103 m-1. Die Art der Nitrierung kann frei gewählt werden. Das so erhaltene Instrument zeichnet sich durch neuartige Klangfarben aus.

The invention relates to a method for producing a metal sound instrument of a steel pan type, particularly for producing a Hang®. According to the method, the steel sheet required for production having a thickness of 0.7 mm to 1.25 mm is nitrided until the sheet is fully permeated by iron nitride needles. The linear density of the needles is generally between 40,103 m-1 and 80,103 m-1. The type of nitriding can be freely selected. The instrument so obtained is characterized by novel sound tones.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un instrument de musique à sonorité métallique ressemblant à celle des tambours métalliques, en particulier la fabrication d'un Hang ®. Le procédé comprend la nitruration d'une tôle d'acier d'une épaisseur de 0,75 à 1,25 mm jusqu'à obtenir dans toute la tôle un enchevêtrement d'aiguilles de nitrure de fer. L'épaisseur linéaire des aiguilles se situe normalement entre 40.103 m-1 et 80.103 m-1. Le mode de nitruration choisi est indifférent. L'instrument ainsi obtenu se distingue par de nouveaux timbres.
