Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a technology by which an area can be flexibly partitioned and managed regardless of the capacity of a storage device, and an area can effectively utilized by an effective method when a file is allocated to a partition. A size of a partition of a storage device is expressed by a sum of mutually different power of twos, and when an area having a size of each of the power of twos constituting the sum defines a main section, each main section is divided into sections having sizes obtained by sequentially halving the main section, and an allocation table which stores allocation information indicating the file allocation status with respect to each of the sections having respective sizes including the main section is generated. The partitions are managed on the basis of the allocation information stored in the allocation table.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une technologie au moyen de laquelle on peut segmenter une zone de façon souple et gérée indépendamment de la capacité d'un dispositif de mémorisation, et faire utiliser efficacement une zone par un procédé efficace lorsqu'un fichier est affecté à une segmentation. On exprime une dimension de segmentation d'un dispositif de stockage par une somme de puissances de 2 différentes les unes des autres, et lorsqu'une zone ayant une dimension de chacune de la puissance de 2 constituant la somme définit une section principale, chaque section principale est divisée en des sections ayant des dimensions obtenues par partage séquentiel en deux de la section principale, et on génère un tableau d'affectation mémorisant les informations d'allocation indiquant l'état d'affectation des fichiers par rapport à chacune des sections ayant des dimensions respectives comprenant la section principale. On génère les segmentations sur la base des informations d'affectation mémorisées dans le tableau d'affectation.
(JA) 記憶装置の容量によらず柔軟に領域を区画し管理することが可能であり、また区画にファイルを割り付けるに当たって、効率的な手法により、領域を有効活用することのできる技術を提供する。 記憶装置の区画のサイズを互いに異なる2のべき乗の和で表して、和を構成する各2のべき乗のサイズの領域を主区域としたとき、各主区域を2分の1ずつ順次分割したサイズの各サイズの区域に区分けし、主区域を含む各サイズの区域のそれぞれのファイルの割付状態を示す割付情報を格納する割付表を生成する。割付表に格納された割付情報に基づいて区画を管理する。
