(EN)The present invention relates to a device for measuring torque transmitted to an output shaft (20) by a harmonic drive gear assembly including a housing (10), a circular spline (16) mounted in the housing, and a flex spline (12) mounted on the output shaft. The device comprises at least one sensor (22a-b) arranged for measuring forces between the circular spline and the housing, and a computing unit configured to receive the measurements from the sensor and, based thereon, to calculate the transmitted torque.
