(EN)Disclosed is a light emitting device wherein color slurring is reduced compared with conventional light emitting devices. The light emitting device (1) is provided with an LED chip (2) which outputs blue light, and a translucent fluorescent element (3), which contains a fluorescent material (35) that converts blue light into yellow light and is disposed on the optical path of the light outputted from the LED chip (2). The blue light which has passed through the fluorescent element (3) and the yellow light which has been generated by means of the fluorescent material (35) are overlapped, and white light is outputted. The fluorescent element (3) has a board-like substrate (30), and a microlens array formed on the light incoming surface (300) of the substrate (30).
