Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an internal combustion engine (1) having a plurality of cylinders (2), an intake system (3), and an exhaust system (4), wherein at least one cylinder (2a) is unfired and can be operated as a compressor and exhaust gas can be recirculated into the unfired cylinder (2a). In order to enable high exhaust gas recirculation amounts at any operating points of the internal combustion engine (1) with the least amount of effort, it is provided that the intake side (13) of the unfired cylinder (2a) is connected to the exhaust system, preferably between the exhaust manifold (10) and an exhaust gas turbine (12), and the exhaust side (15) of the unfired cylinder (2a) is connected to the intake system (3), preferably between a compressor (5) and an intake manifold (8).
(FR) L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne (1) comprenant plusieurs cylindres (2), un système d'admission (3) et un système d'échappement (4), au moins un cylindre (2a) pouvant être exploité sans combustion, comme compresseur, et des gaz d'échappement pouvant être recyclés dans le cylindre (2a) sans combustion. L'objectif de l'invention est de permettre d'obtenir le plus facilement possible des quantités de recyclage élevées de gaz d'échappement en des points de fonctionnement quelconques du moteur à combustion interne (1). A cet effet, le côté admission (13) du cylindre (2a) sans combustion est relié au système d'admission, de préférence entre le collecteur d'échappement (10) et une turbine à gaz d'échappement (12), et le côté échappement (15) du cylindre (2a) sans combustion est relié au système d'admission (3), de préférence entre un compresseur (5) et un collecteur d'admission (8).
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine (1) mit mehreren Zylindern (2), mit einem Einlasssystem (3) und einem Auslasssystem (4), wobei zumindest ein Zylinder (2a) ungefeuert und als Verdichter betreibbar und in den ungefeuerten Zylinder (2a) Abgas rückführbar ist. Um mit möglichst geringem Aufwand hohe Abgasrückführmengen in beliebigen Betriebspunkten der Brennkraftmaschine (1) zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, dass die Einlassseite (13) des ungefeuerten Zylinders (2a) mit dem Auslasssystem, vorzugsweise zwischen Auslasssammler (10) und einer Abgasturbine (12), und die Auslassseite (15) des ungefeuerten Zylinders (2a) mit dem Einlasssystem (3), vorzugsweise zwischen einem Verdichter (5) und einem Einlasssammler (8), verbunden ist.
