(DE)Bei einem Verfahren zur Kühlung eines metallurgischen Ofens mit mindestens einem, von einem Kühlmedium durchströmten Kühlelement, wird ein Kühlmedium, das mindestens eine ionische Flüssigkeit enthält, vorzugsweise daraus besteht, durch das Kühlelement geleitet. Hierdurch werden die mit Wasserkühlung verbundenen Probleme, wie die Gefahr von Wasserstoffexplosionen und Beschädigungen der Ofenauskleidung, vermieden.
(EN)In a method for cooling a metallurgical furnace, comprising at least one cooling element through which a cooling medium flows, a cooling medium that contains at least one ionic fluid, and preferably consists thereof, is conducted through the cooling element, thereby preventing the problems that are associated with water cooling, such as the danger of hydrogen explosions and damage to the furnace lining.

Selon l'invention, un fluide de refroidissement qui contient au moins un liquide ionique, et qui de préférence est constitué de ce liquide, est guidé à travers l'élément de refroidissement.
