(EN)A silicon substrate for use in biosensing applications is provided, having a protective layer made of a hydrophobic dendrimer monolayer linked to a hydrophilic layer presenting biomolecule probes. The hydrophobic monolayer inhibits oxidation of the substrate surface while the biomolecule probes optimize recognition and capture of biomolecules. A process for establishing the functionalized silicon substrate and a method of making the protective layer is also provided.
(FR)La présente invention a pour objet un substrat de silicium destiné à être utilisé dans des applications de biodétection, ayant une couche protectrice constituée d'une monocouche de dendrimère hydrophobe reliée à une couche hydrophile présentant des sondes biomoléculaires. La monocouche hydrophobe inhibe l'oxydation de la surface du substrat tandis que les sondes biomoléculaires optimisent la reconnaissance et la capture des biomolécules. La présente invention concerne également un procédé permettant de constituer le substrat de silicium fonctionnalisé et un procédé de fabrication de la couche protectrice.
