Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed herein are methods and compositions to convert a carbonaceous material to produce a fatty acid, biofuel, biodiesel, or other useful end-product. Organisms are evolutionarily modified to utilize carbon and/or nitrogen sources available in a carbonaceous material. Culture of the evolutionarily modified organism on the carbonaceous material in turn produces a fatty acid, biofuel, biodiesel, or other useful end-product by a process of conversion performed by evolutionarily modified organisms.
(FR) L'invention porte sur des procédés et des compositions pour convertir une matière carbonée pour produire un acide gras, un biocarburant, un biodiesel ou autre produit final utile.
