Abstract:
An inkjet head (25) is of share mode type, and jets an ink by bonding together a piezoelectric substrate (1) wherein a plurality of parallel grooves having electrodes (4) provided on the inner walls are formed, and a nozzle plate (21) provided with nozzle holes (20) corresponding to the grooves of the piezoelectric substrate (1). The share mode type inkjet head (25) is provided with: the piezoelectric substrate (1); the nozzle plate (21); and a first manifold (11) wherein a common ink chamber (5a) and an ink channel for supplying the ink to the piezoelectric substrate (1) are formed. The piezoelectric substrate (1), the nozzle plate (21) and the first manifold (11) are bonded to each other, and in the first manifold (11), a fine gap (90) is formed in the vicinity of the bonding portion. Therefore, in the configuration wherein the shapes and the volumes of the members attached to sandwich the piezoelectric substrate (1) are different, the residual stress difference generated between the members when the members are cooled after being cured with heat is reduced, and the inkjet head (25) having stable jetting characteristics is provided.
