Abstract:
(EN) Over the past decades, attempts have increased to convert renewable biomass or organic waste into useful forms of energy by suitable methods. Preferable methods are generating syngas and CO and CO2 at temperatures of no greater than 750°C and subsequently converting said gases into hydrocarbons (KW) by means of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS). All of said methods for generating syngas require using fossil fuels and are thereby limited in temperature range. Because CO and CO2 are not useful, and additional energy is consumed in the generating thereof, said process is endothermic. Disadvantages of the prior art are eliminated by a method for at least partially converting biomass into hydrocarbon compounds, wherein the method comprises the following steps: adding a hydrogen compound to the biomass; joint heating of the biomass and the hydrogen compound to over 1300°C. By means of a simulation, said method recreates natural conditions present for producing hydrocarbons from biomass in geological timeframes and processes.
(FR) Ces dernières années, on observe des tentatives de plus en plus nombreuses pour transformer de la biomasse ou des déchets organiques en une forme d'énergie utilisable grâce à des procédés appropriés. Les procédés les plus utilisés, dans ce contexte, sont la production de gaz de synthèse, comme le CO et le CO2, à des températures maximales de 750°C et la transformation consécutive de ces gaz en hydrocarbure (HC) par le procédé de synthèse Fischer-Tropsch. Tous ces procédés, qui visent à la production de gaz de synthèse, nécessitent l'utilisation de supports énergétiques fossiles et sont donc limités dans cette plage de température. Le CO et le CO2 n'étant pas exploitables et une énergie supplémentaire étant utilisée pour leur fabrication, ce procédé est donc endothermique. Il peut être remédié aux inconvénients de l'état de la technique grâce à un procédé de transformation au moins partielle de la biomasse, ce procédé comportant les étapes suivantes; ajout d'un composé carbonisé à la biomasse; échauffement commun de la biomasse et des composés carbonisés à plus de 1300°C. Ce procédé permet, à l'aide d'une simulation, de reproduire des conditions naturelles identiques à celles présidant à la formation de composés carbonisés à partir de la biomasse au cours des périodes/processus géologiques.
(DE) In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurde zunehmend versucht, nachwachsende Biomasse oder organische Abfälle durch geeignete Verfahren in nutzbare Energieformen zu wandeln. Bevorzugte Verfahren sind hierbei die Erzeugung von Synthesegas wie CO und CO2 bei Temperaturen von maximal 750 °C und die anschließende Umwandlung dieser Gase mit der Fischer-Tropsch-Synthese (FTS) in Kohlenwasserstoffe (KW). All diese Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Synthesegas benötigen den Einsatz von fossilen Energieträgern und sind somit in dem Temperaturbereich begrenzt. Da CO und CO2 nicht verwertbar sind und zusätzliche Energie zu ihrer Erzeugung verbraucht wird, ist dieser Prozess endotherm. Die Nachteile des Standes der Technik werden behoben durch ein Verfahren zum wenigstens teilweisen Umwandeln von Biomasse in Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen, wobei das Verfahren folgende Schritte aufweist: - Zugabe einer Wasserstoffverbindung zu der Biomasse; - gemeinsames Erhitzen der Biomasse und der Wasserstoffverbindung auf über 1300 °C. Durch dieses Verfahren wird mit der Hilfe einer Simulation der natürlichen Bedingungen, wie sie bei der Kohlenwasserstoffbildung aus Biomasse in geologischen Zeiträumen/Prozessen vorliegen, nachgebildet.
