Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for continuously producing poly(vinyl butyral) in which the acetalization of poly(vinyl butyral) is carried out using a poly(vinyl alcohol) varnish provided to a mixing region of a high shear mixer at an elevated temperature, which reduces the amount of energy required compared to conventional processing because at least one cooling and heating cycle is eliminated, or makes the recuperation of energy more straightforward.
(FR) La présente invention porte sur un procédé de production en continu de poly(vinyl butyrale) dans lequel l'acétalisation de poly(vinyl butyrale) est effectuée à l'aide d'un vernis de poly(alcool vinylique) disposé dans une région de mélange d'un mélangeur à cisaillement élevé à une température élevée, ce qui réduit la quantité d'énergie requise par comparaison avec le traitement classique en raison du fait qu'au moins un cycle de refroidissement et de chauffage est éliminé, ou simplifie la récupération d'énergie.
