(EN)A cost effective method and apparatus are provided for forming metallized fibers and depositing multilayer films thereon to form thin film electrochemical energy storage devices. In one embodiment, a fibrous substrate is formed using a fiber spinning process and the fibrous substrate is plated with a copper layer using wet deposition. Multiple material layers are then deposited onto the copper layer to form a lithium-ion battery fiber.
(FR)Procédé et appareil économiques utilisés pour former des fibres métallisées et déposer des films multicouches sur celles-ci afin de former des dispositifs de stockage d'énergie électrochimiques à couches minces. Selon un mode de réalisation, un substrat fibreux est formé au moyen d'un procédé de filage de fibres et ce substrat fibreux est recouvert d'une couche de cuivre par dépôt humide. Des couches de multiples matières sont ensuite déposées sur cette couche de cuivre pour former une fibre de batterie ion-lithium.
