(EN)A solar cell includes a thin film photovoltaic material structure used in absorbing light of a selective bandwidth. A multitude of dielectric front coatings (12,14) are positioned on the thin film photovoltaic material structure (8) so as to maximize admittance over the selected bandwidth. The thicknesses and indices of each of the front coatings are chosen by a global -optimization procedure to maximize the short-circuit current of the solar cell.
(FR)L'invention concerne une cellule solaire comprenant une structure de matériau photovoltaïque à film mince utilisée pour absorber la lumière d'une largeur de bande sélective. Une multitude de revêtements diélectriques frontaux est positionnée sur la structure de matériau photovoltaïque en film mince de façon à optimiser l'admittance sur la largeur de bande sélectionnée. Les épaisseurs et les indices de chacun des revêtements frontaux sont choisis selon un procédé d'optimisation globale pour optimiser le courant de court-circuit de la cellule solaire.
