Abstract:
(EN) A method for improving zonal isolation between formations along a borehole, comprises a) providing a pipe in the borehole, wherein at least a portion of the pipe lies between the formations, b) providing a body of cement in the annulus between the borehole wall and said pipe portion, c) allowing the body of cement to cure until it has reached at least 70 Bearden units consistency, and d) expanding said pipe portion so as to decrease the cross-sectional area of the annulus between the borehole wall and said pipe portion.
(FR) Un procédé d'amélioration d'isolation zonale entre des formations situées le long d'un trou de forage comprend les étapes consistant à a) mettre en place un tuyau dans le trou de forage, au moins une partie du tuyau se trouvant entre les formations, b) mettre en place un corps de ciment dans l'espace annulaire situé entre la paroi de trou de forage et ladite partie de tuyau, c) laisser le corps de ciment sécher jusqu'à ce qu'il atteigne une consistance d'au moins 70 en unités Bearden, et d) dilater ladite partie de tuyau de manière à diminuer la section transversale de l'espace annulaire situé entre la paroi de trou de forage et ladite partie de tuyau.
