Abstract:
In order to improve the thermal efficiency of an engine, a film which has a low thermal conductivity and a low thermal capacity, and is excellent in durability and reliability, i.e., which does not peel or detach, is supplied to an engine combustion chamber. Provided are an engine combustion chamber structure characterized in that an anode oxide film having a thickness of more than 20 µm and 500 µm or less, and a porosity of 20% or more, is formed on the inner surface of an engine combustion chamber; and a method for producing the engine combustion chamber.
