Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is a liquid-crystal panel that has light-sensing functionality with improved light-detection sensitivity. A liquid-crystal layer (19) is sealed between a first translucent substrate (10) and a second translucent substrate (20). Formed on the first translucent substrate are multiple silicon photodiodes (17) and multiple thin-film transistors (16) that act as switching elements to drive the liquid crystal. Diffraction gratings (35, 36) are formed on the light-receiving parts (30) of the silicon photodiodes, either on the sides facing the second translucent substrate or on the sides opposite the second translucent substrate.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un panneau à cristaux liquides qui présente une fonctionnalité de détection de lumière avec une sensibilité de détection de lumière améliorée. Une couche de cristaux liquides (19) est confinée de façon étanche entre un premier substrat translucide (10) et un second substrat translucide (20). Formés sur le premier substrat translucide, se trouvent de multiples photodiodes en silicium (17) et de multiples transistors à couche mince (16) qui agissent comme des éléments de commutation pour commander le cristal liquide. Des réseaux de diffraction (35, 36) sont formés sur les parties de réception de lumière (30) des photodiodes en silicium, soit sur les côtés dirigés vers le second substrat translucide, soit sur les côtés opposés au second substrat translucide.
(JA)  液晶を駆動するスイッチング素子としての複数の薄膜トランジスタ(16)及び複数のシリコンフォトダイオード(17)が形成された第1透光性基板(10)と、第2透光性基板(20)との間に液晶層(19)が封入されている。シリコンフォトダイオードの受光部(30)の第2透光性基板側の面又は第2透光性基板とは反対側の面に回折格子(35,36)が形成されている。これにより、光検出感度が向上した光センサ機能を備えた液晶パネルを提供することができる。
