(EN)Use of rice OsNHAD gene in genetic improvement of salt tolerance of rice is provided. The gene is selected from one of the following nucleotide sequences: 1) the nucleotide sequence from positions 60 to 1649 of SEQ NO:1 in the Sequence Listing; or 2) a nucleotide sequence that encodes the same protein as that encoded by 1). Transgenic rice plants obtained by introducing the nucleotide sequence comprising OsNHAD gene operably ligated with exogenous promoter into rice have enhanced salt tolerance.
(FR)La présente invention concerne l'utilisation du gène OsNHAS du riz pour améliorer génétiquement la tolérance du riz au sel. Ce gène est choisi dans l'une des séquences de nucléotides suivantes: 1) la séquence de nucléotides allant des positions 60 à 1649 de SEQ NO:1 du Listage de Séquences; ou 2) une séquence de nucléotides qui code la même protéine que celle codée par 1). Les plants de riz obtenus par introduction de la séquence de nucléotides comprenant le gène OsNAHD fonctionnellement ligaturé dans le riz au moyen d'un promoteur exogène présentent une meilleure tolérance au sel.
