(EN)There is provided a method for reducing the content of at least one water soluble volatile organic compound in a gas. The method comprises contacting the gas with an aqueous acidic oxidizing composition comprising H2O2 and a metal catalyst, and submitting the at least one water soluble volatile organic compound and the aqueous acidic oxidizing composition to an UV radiation.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la réduction de la teneur d'au moins un composé organique volatil hydrosoluble dans un gaz. Le procédé comprend la mise en contact du gaz avec une composition aqueuse acide oxydante comprenant H2O2 et un catalyseur métallique et le fait de soumettre ledit ou lesdits composés organiques volatils hydrosolubles et la composition aqueuse acide oxydante à un rayonnement UV.
