Abstract:
(EN) A co-axial crankless engine (1) having at least one cylinder (3) defining a longitudinally extending axis (XX). A pair of pistons (5, 6) are positioned to reciprocate in opposite directions along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. A space (7) between the pistons defines a common combustion chamber (70). A first shaft (10) is positioned substantially parallel to and spaced laterally from the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. A second shaft (12) is positioned substantially parallel to and spaced laterally from the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. The second shaft (12) has a longitudinally extending bore (14) through which the first shaft can extend and rotate. Each piston is connected to an axially spaced cam (16, 17). A first cam being supported by the first shaft, a second cam being supported by the second shaft. In use, reciprocation of the pistons imparts on respective shafts rotating motion in opposite directions to drive the engine.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un moteur coaxial sans manivelle (1) présentant au moins un cylindre (3) qui définit un axe d'extension longitudinal (XX). Une paire de pistons (5, 6) est positionnée de manière à effectuer un mouvement alternatif dans des directions opposées le long de l'axe longitudinal du cylindre. Un espace (7) entre les pistons définit une chambre de combustion commune (70). Une première tige (10) est positionnée de manière sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du cylindre, et espacée latéralement de celui-ci. Une seconde tige (12) est positionnée de manière sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal du cylindre, et espacée latéralement de celui-ci. Ladite seconde tige (12) présente un trou s'étendant longitudinalement (14), à travers lequel la première tige peut s'étendre et tourner. Chaque piston est raccordé à une came espacée axialement (16, 17). Une première came est soutenue par la première tige, et une seconde came est soutenue par la seconde tige. Lors de l'utilisation, le mouvement alternatif des pistons communique aux tiges respectives un mouvement de rotation dans des directions opposées afin d'entraîner le moteur.
