Abstract:
(EN) Components having one or more sensors adapted to provide sensor data relating to a condition(s) of the component are disclosed. The component is adapted to communicate with another mating component to associate sensor data with identity information of the mating component. The sensor and identity information can be communicated remotely including via radio-frequency communications employing RF identification devices (RFIDs). Location of the mating component can be determined using the identity information of the mating component. In this manner, the sensor data can be associated with the location of the mating component using the identity information in a "component-to-component" configuration to provide location-specific sensor data. Having the ability to localize sensor data to a specific location can assist in pinpointing areas where performance or other condition issues may exist in a component, a mating component, an article of manufacture associated with the components, and/or communication and/or transmissions lines coupled between components.
(FR) Les composants ci-décrits possèdent un ou plusieurs capteurs conçus pour fournir des données de capteur concernant une ou plusieurs conditions relatives à ces composants. Chaque composant est conçu pour communiquer avec un autre composant homologue afin d'associer des données de capteur aux informations d'identité dudit composant homologue. Les informations de capteur et d'identité peuvent être communiquées à distance, y compris par le biais de communications en radiofréquence basées sur des dispositifs d'identification par RF (RFID). La localisation du composant homologue peut être déterminée au moyen des informations d'identité qui lui appartiennent. De cette manière, les données de capteur peuvent être associées à la localisation du composant homologue alors que l'utilisation des informations d'identité se fait selon une configuration « composant à composant » afin de fournir des données de capteur spécifiques de la localisation. La possibilité de localiser les données de capteur par rapport à une localisation spécifique peut aider à distinguer les zones touchées par un problème de performance ou autre dans un composant, un composant homologue, un article manufacturé associé auxdits composants et/ou des voies de communication et/ou de transmission couplées entre les composants.
