Abstract:
(EN) A variable flow pump includes: a housing with inlet and outlet chambers interconnected by a main bore and a non-rotating cylinder block positioned in the main bore. The cylinder block includes: a central bore communicating with the inlet chamber; cylinder bores arrayed around the central bore; first feed passages interconnecting the inlet chamber and the cylinder bores, defining a bypass flowpath between the cylinder bores; and at least one discharge valve disposed at the second end which permits fluid flow from the cylinder bores to the discharge chamber but prevents opposite flow; Pistons are disposed in the bores. A shaft is coupled to the pistons so as to cause them to reciprocate through an axial pump stroke when the shaft is rotated. A mechanism is coupled to the cylinder block which modulates the axial position of the cylinder block within the housing, varying the size of the bypass flowpath.
(FR) La pompe à débit variable selon la présente invention inclut : un logement équipé de chambres d'entrée et de sortie interconnectées par un alésage principal et un bloc-cylindres non-rotatif placé dans l'alésage principal. Le bloc-cylindres inclut : un alésage central communiquant avec la chambre d'entrée; des alésages de cylindre disposés autour de l'alésage central; des premiers passages d'alimentation interconnectant la chambre d'entrée et les alésages de cylindre, définissant une voie de passage de dérivation entre les alésages de cylindre; et au moins un clapet de refoulement disposé sur la seconde extrémité qui permet l'écoulement du fluide depuis les alésages de cylindre jusqu'à la chambre de refoulement mais empêche tout écoulement inverse; des pistons sont disposés dans les alésages. Un arbre est couplé aux pistons de manière à faire en sorte qu'ils soient animés d'un mouvement de va-et-vient au moyen d'une course de pompe axiale lorsque l'arbre est pivoté. Le mécanisme est couplé au bloc-cylindres qui module la position axiale du bloc-cylindres à l'intérieur du logement, variant la taille de la voie de passage de dérivation.
