Title: POSITION INFORMATION TOTALIZING APPARATUS AND POSITION INFORMATION TOTALIZING METHOD
Abstract:
A position information totalizing apparatus aims to calculate population distribution with high accuracy by using pieces of position information which are irregularly acquired by mobile communication terminals. The position information totalizing apparatus comprises a position information receiving unit (111), a position information accumulation unit (112), a position information time extraction unit (123), a position information user extraction unit (124), and a totalizing unit (126). The position information receiving unit (111) receives pieces of position information about the positions of a plurality of mobile communication terminals (2) and each piece of position information includes time information and a user ID. The position information accumulation unit (112) accumulates a plurality of pieces of position information which are received. The position information time extraction unit (123) extracts position information including the time information corresponding to a specific time period from the plurality of pieces of position information which are accumulated. The position information user extraction unit (124) deletes the position information including a duplicate user ID from the extracted pieces of position information. The totalizing unit (126) totalizes the population distribution in a specific area by using the extracted pieces of position information.
