Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for the identification of regulatory T cells based on the diminished abundance or even absence of the global gene regulator SATB1 in such regulatory T cells. In particular, the invention relates to a method utilizing ligands that specifically bind to SATB1 for identifying regulatory T cells which are cells showing a reduced binding to said ligand. Such method is suitable for quality determination of a regulatory T cell population. The invention further provides a kit or diagnostic composition for such method.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant l'identification de lymphocytes T régulateurs sur la base de la diminution de l'abondance ou même l'absence du régulateur global de l'expression génique SATB1 dans lesdits lymphocytes T régulateurs. L'invention concerne en particulier un procédé utilisant des ligands qui se lient spécifiquement à SATB1 pour identifier les lymphocytes T régulateurs qui sont des cellules présentant une diminution de la liaison au dit ligand. Un tel procédé est approprié pour une détermination de qualité d'une population de lymphocytes T régulateurs. L'invention concerne en outre un kit ou une composition diagnostique pour ledit procédé.
