Abstract:
(EN) A communication unit comprises receiver circuitry for receiving radio frequency (RF) signals from at least one wireless serving communication unit, and a signal processing logic module. The signal processing logic module is arranged to decode system information within received RF signals transmitted by the at least one wireless serving communication unit, determine whether the wireless serving communication unit supports a restricted access communication cell based on the decoded system information, and decide whether RF signals received from that at least one wireless serving communication unit are suitable as a timing signal source when synchronising an operating frequency of the communication unit based at least partly on the determination.
(FR) L'invention concerne une unité de communication comprenant un ensemble circuits de récepteur pour recevoir des signaux de radiofréquence (RF) provenant d'au moins une unité de communication de service sans fil, et un module logique de traitement de signaux. Le module logique de traitement de signaux est conçu pour décoder des informations de système dans les signaux RF reçus transmis par ladite unité de communication de service sans fil, déterminer si l'unité de communication de service sans fil prend en charge une cellule de communication à accès limité sur la base des informations de système décodées, et décider si des signaux RF reçus de ladite unité de communication de service sans fil sont appropriés comme source de signaux de temporisation lors de la synchronisation d'une fréquence de fonctionnement de l'unité de communication sur la base au moins partielle de la détermination.
