Abstract:
(EN) Non-ablative skin resurfacing can include generating electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of about 1920 nm to about 1950 nm and a fluence of about 3 J/cm2 to about 6 J/cm2. The electromagnetic radiation is delivered to a target region of skin to cause thermal injury to the epidermis in the target region sufficient to elicit a healing response that produces a substantially improved skin condition without detachment of the epidermis (e.g., within 3 days of treatment).
(FR) L'invention concerne un remodelage de la peau non ablatif qui peut comprendre la génération d'un rayonnement électromagnétique présentant une longueur d'onde comprise entre environ 1920 nm et environ 1950 nm, et une fluence comprise entre environ 3 J/cm2 et environ 6 J/cm2. Le rayonnement électromagnétique est émis sur une zone cible de la peau afin de provoquer une lésion thermique de l'épiderme de la zone cible suffisante pour obtenir une réponse de cicatrisation qui produit un état sensiblement amélioré de la peau sans détachement de l'épiderme (par exemple, au bout de 3 jours de traitement).
