(EN) Disclosed is a method for producing an alcohol compound, wherein a carboxylic acid ester compound is reduced with hydrogen in the presence of a ruthenium complex that is obtained by reacting (A) an imidazolium salt having at least one optionally substituted amino group and (B) a ruthenium compound in the presence of (C) a base.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé de production d'un composé alcool, dans lequel un composé ester d'acide carboxylique est réduit par l'hydrogène en présence d'un complexe de ruthénium qui est obtenu par réaction (A) d'un sel d'imidazolium ayant au moins un groupe amino facultativement substitué et (B) un composé du ruthénium en présence de (C) une base.
