Abstract:
Disclosed is a light-emitting member that, with no loss in anti-reflective properties, has excellent transparency and anti-static properties, suppresses dust and grime adhesion, and is difficult to scratch. Also disclosed is a production method that can form said light-emitting member. The light-emitting member is provided with a substoichiometrically oxidized titanium film formed by vapor deposition of substoichiometrically oxidized titanium in a vacuum chamber into which oxygen gas for adjusting the degree of the vacuum is introduced. The relationship between the pressure (p (Pa)) within the aforementioned vacuum chamber at time of film formation, and the light-emitting film thickness (index of refraction, 2.50; center wavelength of design, 500nm) of the aforementioned substoichiometrically oxidized titanium film is (1) p ≧ 0.005, (2) light-emitting film thickness ≦ 0.500 λ, (3) light-emitting film thickness ≧ (0.001exp(905.73p) - 0.050) λ, where exp is the exponential function with the base of the natural logarithm e as the base.
