Abstract:
The method according to the invention is based on the heuristic nourishment of distance calculations to be performed in tree search methods by means of predefined distance metrics stored in sequences and based on decision areas. The distance metric calculations necessary in the course of the search for mathematical analysis of the nodes to be examined in tree search methods, in which the agreement of the possible tree nodes with the search argument is determined, are transfered to a geometrical examination of the nodes to be investigated. By approximating the position of a representative of the search argument at reference points of reference planes and euclidean distances predefined therefor to the tree nodes potentially to be examined, the distance metrics can be approximated with significantly lower complexity. By means of the algorithmic simplifications accompanied herewith, the performance efficiency and plane efficiency of the tree search method and of a detector arrangement executing said method can be significantly increased.
