Title: DEVICE FOR MONITORING THE DROP IN THE RESIDUAL VOLTAGE ACROSS THE TERMINALS OF A FUEL CELL AFTER THE LATTER IS TURNED OFF
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for monitoring the drop in the residual voltage across the terminals of a fuel cell after the latter is turned off. The device comprises means for collecting a current in the cell so as to discharge same, as well as means for consuming the collected current. The means for consuming the collected current includes means for indicating when the residual voltage is below a given threshold. The invention can be used in fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, capacitors, and supercapacitors.
