Abstract

A wear-resistant cladding layer for cutting tool components. A cutting tool includes a tool holder (12) and a clamp (34) structured and arranged for releasably securing an insert (22) to the tool holder (12). The cutting tool also includes a wear-resistant cladding layer (50) brazed on at least a portion of the clamp (34) and/or brazed on at least a portion of the tool holder (12), wherein the wear-resistant cladding layer (50) comprises hard particles and a brazing material.

Couche de revêtement résistant à l'usure pour composants d'outil de coupe. L'outil de coupe comprend un porte-outil (12) et une bride de serrage (34) structurée et disposée pour assurer la fixation libérable d'un insert (22) sur le porte-outil (12). L'outil de coupe comprend également une couche de revêtement résistant à l'usure (50) qui est brasée sur au moins une partie de la bride de serrage (34) et/ou sur au moins une partie du porte-outil (12), cette couche (50) renfermant des particules dures et un matériau de brasage.
