Abstract

A method (500) and system (1) for transmitting game related information from a hand-held gaming device (10) through a game console (16) to a game controller (20) and vice versa. In one aspect, the game related information comprises command information that causes the game controller (20) to respond either by vibrating, rumbling or other action associated with a game being played. In another aspect, the game related information may include controller signals that cause an action at the hand-held device (10).

La présente invention concerne un procédé (500) et un système (1) permettant de transmettre les informations associées à un jeu provenant d'un dispositif de jeu portatif (10) via une console de jeu (16) et à destination d'un dispositif de commande de jeu (20), et vice-versa. Dans un aspect de l'invention, les informations associées au jeu contiennent des informations de commande qui provoquent une réponse du dispositif de commande de jeu (20), sous forme de vibrations, de ronronnement ou de toute autre action associée au jeu en cours. Dans un autre aspect de l'invention, les informations associées au jeu peuvent contenir des signaux du dispositif de commande qui provoquent une action au niveau du dispositif portatif (10).
