Getriebe a) zur Synchronisierung einer Mehrzahl drehbar gelagerter und parallel zueinander angeordneter Wellen (1), al) wobei die Anzahl und die Anordnung der Wellen (1) derart ist, dass jede Welleachse durch einen Eckpunkt von mindestens einem gedachten Quadrat verläuft, dessen Eckpunkte durch insgesamt vier senkrecht zu dem Quadrat verlaufenden Wellenachsen definiert sind, die nachfolgend als Vierergruppe bezeichnet sind, a2) so dass a2a) bei insgesamt vier Wellen eine Vierergruppe vorliegt, a2b) bei insgesamt sechs Wellen zwei Viererguppen vorliegen, a2c) bei insgesamt acht Wellen drei Vierergruppen vorliegen, a2d) und so weiter; b) das Getriebe weist eine erste Getriebeebene und eine zweite Getriebeebene auf, die zur ersten axial beabstandet ist; c) das Getriebe weist in jeder Getriebeebene folgende Komponenten auf : cl) je eine Exzenterscheibe (2) pro Welle (1), die mit dieser drehfest verbunden ist, c2) je vier Schubscheiben (3) pro Vierergruppe, c3) und je eine Tragscheibe (4) pro Vierergruppe, c4) wobei pro Vierergruppe die vier Schubscheiben (3) zwischen die Tragscheibe (4) und vier Exzenterscheiben (2) eingezwängt sind, so dass die Schubscheiben (3) sowohl auf den Exzenterscheiben (2) als auch auf der Tragscheibe (4) abrollen können; d) wobei alle Exzenterscheiben (2) gleiche Abmessungen haben; e) wobei alle Schubscheiben (3) gleiche Abmessungen haben; f) wobei alle Tragscheiben (4) gleiche Abmessungen haben; g) und wobei die Exzenterscheiben der ersten Getriebeebene gegenüber den Exzenterscheiben der zweiten Getriebeebene um 180° phasenversetzt auf den jeweiligen Wellen (1) angeordnet sind.
