The present invention generally relates to the field of weight management and obesity. In particular the present invention relates to the use of probiotics in combination with prebiotics to treat or prevent obesity. One embodiment of the present invention relates to the use of Lactobacillus rhamnosus NCC 4007 in combination with a specific probiotic mixture for the preparation of a composition to support weight management, promote weight loss and/or to treat obesity.

La présente invention porte d'une manière générale sur le domaine du contrôle du poids et de l'obésité. En particulier, la présente invention porte sur l'utilisation de probiotiques en combinaison avec des prébiotiques pour traiter ou prévenir l'obésité. Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention porte sur l'utilisation de Lactobacillus rhamnosus NCC4007 en combinaison avec un mélange probiotique spécifique pour la préparation d'une composition destinée à favoriser un contrôle du poids, favoriser une perte de poids et/ou traiter l'obésité.
