Abstract
(EN)
The present invention relates to a method for issuing gold coins as a world currency, and more particularly, to a method which enables gold coins issued by each of a plurality of countries to be used as currency of the same monetary value in any country regardless of the issuing country, thus controlling the issue of gold coins and the money supply under the supervision of Korea. The method for issuing gold coins as a world currency comprises the steps of: producing gold coins consisting of 90% of pure gold and 5% of pure silver with a tolerance of 5%; classifying the gold coins containing 350g of pure gold as worth 100 won, those containing 200g of pure gold as worth 50 won, those containing 150g of pure gold as worth 10 won, those containing 100g of pure gold as worth 5 won, and those containing 50g of pure gold as worth 1 won; and marking a predetermined country code and an issue serial number on the gold coins classified as above and having the same design, and issuing gold coins with distinguished country codes and issue serial numbers. When the number of gold coins issued with the values of 100 won, 50 won, 10 won, 5 won, and 1 won exceeds 100, three samples of gold coins are issued, and one of three samples is kept in the country in which the issued gold coin is to be used, another of the three samples is kept in Korea, and the last of the three samples is kept at the International Monetary Fund. Further, gold coins marked with country codes and issue serial numbers are issued to each country under the rule of 1 gold coin per population of 2,000,000, and can be additionally issued upon request of the representatives of each country.
