A boundary intra coding flag is obtained according to a current macroblock type. When the boundary intra coding flag indicates that the current macroblock is coded in an intra prediction mode using boundary intra coding, boundary coding information is obtained, and a boundary in the current macroblock is induced based on the boundary coding information. Therefore, the regions divided by the boundary can be coded in the intra prediction mode. The accuracy of a predicted pixel value can be improved by performing the intra prediction for the regions divided by the boundary. Accordingly, the residual data transmitted to a decoder can be reduced.

L'invention concerne un drapeau de codage en mode intra des contours obtenu en fonction d'un type de macrobloc courant. Lorsque le drapeau de codage en mode intra des contours indique que le macrobloc courant est codé en mode prédiction intra au moyen d'un codage intra des contours, on obtient des informations de codage des contours, et on induit un contour dans le macrobloc courant en fonction des informations de codage intra des contours. De ce fait, les régions divisées par le contour peuvent être codées en mode prédiction intra. La précision d'une valeur de pixel prédite peut être améliorée par exécution d'une prédiction intra pour les régions divisées par le contour. En conséquence, les données résiduelles transmises à un décodeur peuvent être réduites.

현재 매크로 블록 타입에 따라 경계 인트라 코딩 플래그를 획득하고, 상기 경계 인트라 코딩 플래그가 상기 현재 매크로 블록이 경계 인트라 코딩을 이용하여 화면내 예측 모드로 코딩됨을 지시하는 경우, 경계 코딩 정보를 획득하며, 상기 경계 코딩 정보에 기초하여 상기 현재 매크로 블록내의 경계를 유도하고, 상기 경계를 기준으로 분할된 영역에 대하여 화면내 예측 모드로 코딩할 수 있다. 경계를 기준으로 분할된 영역에 대하여 화면내 예측을 수행함으로써 예측된 픽셀값의 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 이에 따라 디코더로 전송되는 레지듀얼 데이터를 줄일 수 있다.
