Abstract:
(EN) The present invention involves connectors for reducing Far-End Crosstalk (FEXT) through the use of novel polarity swapping to negate the cumulative effect of FEXT. Skew adjustment is used to improve the FEXT cancellation from polarity swapping. The polarity reversal location or locations among FEXT sources are optimized to achieve maximum FEXT cancellation. The novelty polarity swapping technique can be applied to a wide variety of connectors, such as mezzanine connectors, backplane connectors, and any other connectors that can benefit from FEXT reduction.
(FR) La présente invention a trait à des connecteurs permettant de réduire la télédiaphonie (FEXT) par l'utilisation d'une permutation de polarité innovante afin d'annuler l'effet cumulatif de la FEXT. Un réglage de l'obliquité est utilisé afin d'améliorer l'annulation de la FEXT à partir d'une permutation de polarité. Le ou les emplacements d'inversion de polarité parmi les sources de la FEXT sont optimisés afin d'obtenir l'annulation maximale de la FEXT. La technique de permutation de polarité innovante peut être appliquée à une large variété de connecteurs, tels que des connecteurs de mezzanine, des connecteurs de fond de panier et tout autre connecteur qui peut bénéficier de la réduction de la FEXT.
