Abstract:
(EN) A system for condensing water from atmospheric air is disclosed. The aforesaid device comprises (a) a structure comprising at least one cooled member connectable to a cooling device, the surface has a temperature lower than a dew point of an ambient atmosphere and adapted to condense water from ambient atmosphere; (b) at least one water collecting channel adapted to collect said water condensed on the cooled member and, (c) a water storage subsystem fluidly connected to at least one water collecting channel; The member is configured in a form of a hollow shell. The cooled member has an outer downward surface.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système permettant de condenser l'eau contenue dans l'air atmosphérique. Le système de l'invention comprend (a) une structure comportant au moins un élément refroidi pouvant être connecté à un dispositif de refroidissement, sa surface ayant une température inférieure au point de rosée d'une atmosphère ambiante et étant capable de condenser l'eau contenue dans l'atmosphère ambiante ; (b) au moins un canal de collecte d'eau capable de collecter ladite eau condensée sur l'élément refroidi et, (c) un sous-système de stockage d'eau en connexion de fluide avec au moins un canal de collecte d'eau ; l'élément ayant la forme d'une coque creuse. L'élément refroidi possède une surface externe en pente descendante.
